South West Mayo Development Company CLG

Children & Young People – Swim Safety Week

Providing a vital support for children and young people living on the Mayo Islands. Participants complete swimming lessons and learn survival, rescue, and CPR skills.

Lifelong Learning – Clare Island Pottery Group

The Clare Island Pottery Group hosted a successful porcelain workshop where participants enjoyed a day of demonstrations and hands-on learning. The workshop fostered creativity, community spirit, and new skills.

Digital Inclusion - Connect Cafés

With Connect Cafés participants received guidance on topics such as online safety, scams, digital devices, and accessing online services, while also helping to identify the digital literacy needs of the island communities.

Social Enterprise

SICAP supports social enterprises through targeted initiatives including Mayo Social Enterprise Network events, funding opportunities, and tailored governance support.

Health & Wellbeing

Targeted activities that focus on holistic wellbeing, helping people deal with their day-to-day challenges, enhance self-confidence and build social inclusion.

Social & Digital Inclusion

Our programmes create welcoming spaces where individuals can build confidence, develop digital skills, and strengthen connections with others.
