Driving Employment
DLDC’s Bus Driving Learner Permit Course, developed with Swilly Drive and
Donegal ETB, addresses the shortage of qualified bus drivers by helping jobseekers
complete their Learner Permit requirements, opening a direct route into a fully
funded training course.
Tackling Food Poverty
The Donegal Food Response Network, established by DLDC, tackles food poverty through a network of 21 community and voluntary organisations that
distribute more than 100,00 food packages annually.

and conditioning, cognitive training, and grassroots sports education, supporting
everyone from competitive athletes to individuals with additional needs.
Stories We Share
DLDC delivered the Stories We Share family literacy programme in partnership with Donegal County Library and Donegal ETB, supporting children and families facing
barriers to literacy and learning at home.
Full Circle Moment
After arriving in Donegal from Ukraine, Polina Fylyppenkova reached out to DLDC
for support. With a degree in linguistics and fluency in English, Ukrainian and
Russian, she gained a TEFL qualification and now delivers basic English classes for
new arrivals on behalf of DLDC.
