‘New Beginnings’ – A Personal Development Programme for Young People Leaving Care is a new and evolving course for care leavers that aims to provide a framework of skills including planning, budgeting, and literacy.
Get the Message Out
There Is Another Way is a group of community organisations that have a youth / addiction focus that were brought together by Northside Partnership following the increase in drug related crime and violence in the area. The aim of the initiative is to inform young people and their families that there are alternatives to drugs and crime and that supports are available to them to avoid or exit this lifestyle.
Young Community Leaders
Young Community Leaders (YCL) is a 10‑month programme for 16–25 year olds that builds practical life and leadership skills while empowering them to contribute positively to their community. Participants gain accredited certification and develop key abilities such as communication, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution.
