The inaugural Local Development Conference – Summit 2030– took place on 30–31 October 2025 in Ballina, Co. Mayo hosted by the Local Development Companies Network. The two-day gathering brought together more than 40 Local Development Companies (LDCs) alongside leaders from a diversity of sectors, Senior Government representatives, policymakers, community partners and academics from across Ireland to explore how communities, society, and the economy can thrive together through partnership and innovation.
