County Childcare Committees

LDCs contribute to childcare planning and delivery, strengthening early years and family supports locally.

LDCs sit on childcare boards and contribute to strategic planning and implementation of early childhood supports.

Fáilte Ireland, Waterways Ireland, Trade Associations & Chambers of Commerce

LDCs partner with these organisations on rural tourism and enterprise, fostering sustainable economic development.

Family Resource Centres

LDCs and FRCs collaborate to strengthen families, support communities, and expand local service provision.

FRCs are key collaborators in supporting families, hosting outreach programmes, engaging marginalised communities, and delivering local services in partnership with LDCs

Irish Network Against Racism

LDCs and INAR co-deliver anti-racism training, political participation, and integration supports for new communities.

Local Enterprise Offices

Together with LEOs, LDCs support small business growth and entrepreneurship in rural and disadvantaged areas.

Local Sports Partnerships

Partnering with LSPs, LDCs increase access to sport for disadvantaged and socially isolated groups.

LDCs engage with PPNs, amplifying community voices in decision-making and strengthening local democracy.
